Florence Recycle Department

The Florence Recycle Department is the City of Florence, Alabama's recycling operation, run through the Public Works/Solid Waste Department. It provides weekly curbside recycling to residents inside the city limits, who use a city-issued blue recycling cart collected on the same day as their garbage. The Recycling Plant at 1200 Terrace Street also has outdoor drop-off bins open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to anyone, including non-residents. The department does not collect liquids, paints, or hazardous chemicals; the office line is (256) 760-6495.
