Boston Mountain Solid Waste

Boston Mountain Solid Waste District operates a recycling and solid waste center at 11398 Bond Road in Prairie Grove, serving Washington and Madison counties in Northwest Arkansas. The drop-off center accepts a long list of materials including cans, glass, cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, electronics, batteries, motor oil, clothing and fabrics, car seats, and bulk storage bins, plus non-Freon appliances and scrap metal for free. It also runs a food waste drop-off program that composts scraps through the Fayetteville Compost Facility, along with household hazardous waste disposal, bulky waste pickup, dumpster rentals, and a transfer station. The center is open Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm and Saturday 8am to 11am.
